Bonnaroo

A little more about Bonnaroo...

The Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival is a four-day, multi-stage camping festival held on a beautiful 700-acre farm in Manchester, Tennessee every June. Bonnaroo brings together some of the best performers in rock and roll, along with dozens of artists in complementary styles such as jazz, Americana, hip-hop, electronica, and just about any contemporary music you can think of. In addition to dozens of epic performances, the festival's 100-acre entertainment village buzzes around the clock with attractions and activities including a classic arcade, on-site cinema, silent disco, comedy club, theater performers, a beer festival, and a music technology village. For its peaceful vibe, near-flawless logistics, and unrivaled entertainment options, Rolling Stone magazine named this revolutionary entertainment experience one of the 50 moments that changed the history of rock and roll.

What you will find within the campgrounds:
Broo'ers Festival: Under one tent, you can enjoy hearty bocks, revitalizing pilsners, crisp pale ales, and more, offered up by great microbreweries from around the country.
Salon hosted by Garnier Fructis: A salon where you can relax, get your hair washed and styled, and pick up free samples of Garnier Fructis products and other great gifts. Who said you can’t look good at Bonnaroo?
Blue Room Cafe: Situated at the back of the main venue, it offers seating, drinks, shade, and down home Tennessee BBQ.
Yoga Classes: When all that festival fun takes its toll, wake up to a body-and-mind limbering yoga blowout, Bonnaroo style.
Bonnaroo Cinema: The Bonnaroo Cinema is among the most popular attractions at the Roo, and for good reason. The air-conditioned, seated space hosts a wide variety of movies 24 hours a day, including, comedies, classics, world cinema, documentaries, short films, animated films, and even NBA playoff games.
Troo Music Lounge: Take a break from the big stages (and big crowds) and chill out in the intimate café atmosphere of the Troo Music Lounge. Kick back, sip a cold Bud, and enjoy performances from some great up-and-coming artists.
... and a whole lot more

Brooke and I have talked a couple of our friends into joining us on this next festival trip. Besides the airfare and ticket, it would be a relatively cheap weekend. Come join us! Who could pass up camping in Tennessee for 4 days? Talk about a memorable experience...
