Hotel San Jose

Molly and I could go on and on about this Austin hotel. Not only is it aesthetically gorgeous but it's so incredibly relaxing. By far one of our favorite places to grab a drink on a breezy summer night. One of the top twenty reasons why I miss Austin.
Located on South Congress , a few blocks south of where the Colorado River runs through downtown Austin. Nestled behind stucco walls in the heart of the hippest neighborhood in the city, the San Jose has been transformed into an urban, bungalow-syle hotel. Built in 1939 as an "ultramodern motor court," the hotel is part of the fabric of downtown Austin .

Oh and it's next door to our favorite coffee stop.... Jo's. Doesn't get much better than that.
