I was reading through some old posts on one of my favorite blogs, Fashion Indie, and came across this clever tidbit on every girl's long time favorite, Strawberry Shortcake.
"Every girls childhood sweetheart has gotten a major makeover. Thankfully it was for the better.
The first step was removing her oversized hat, her stylist then straitened her dreadlocks and added extensions. Next, they widened her eyes with a little elective surgery and removed her nose. After a tummy tuck and face bleaching to remove her freckles, they gave her a new wardrobe and sent her cat Custard to the animal shelter to be turned into the perfect muff for the winter. Pretty girls carry chihuahuas."
